Do you comply with CSA Standard A440.4-07?

At the end of 2016, the revised CSA Standard A440.4-07 became the national Standard of Canada for the installation of windows, doors, and skylights in low-rise and residential buildings.

According to this new standard, rigid and flexible flashings are required to be made of materials such as reinforced bitumen and/or rigid metal containing aluminum, copper, galvanized metal or other non-ferrous metal. This standard applies to renovations and new residential constructions.

Resisto has a Solution

RESISTO has the right product to conform to CSA A440.4-07: the REDZONE membrane. This self-adhesive membrane seals the edges of anchors that pass through windows or doors, ensuring compliance with CSA Standard A440.4-07. For optimal waterproofing, it's best to also apply REDZONE to the top flashing.

Why Choose the REDZONE Membrane?

  • Self-sealing

  • UV resistant (it must be covered within 90 days)

  • Low-temperature flexibility

  • Easy, mess-free installation

  • Compliance with and CSA Standard A440.4-07
